I had a meeting with my son's guidance counselor. When asked what I did for a living, I said "I'm a blogger". That took a while to explain and she still had that preplesxed look on her face. I can just imagine how John Chow, Heather Armstrong and Darren Rowse are looked at. If I ever get to that level, they'll really think I'm looney. Not that they don't already think so. When our daughter was in 6th grade the teacher asked everyone to describe what their parents did for a living. She said “My daddy works on a computer.” That was really all she knew to say. The teacher didn’t like that, so for homework she had to memorize some long definition. I can’t remember what it was any more. Over the years we’ve found “internet marketing” to be an answer that doesn’t leave people with that glazed look in their eyes. :) BTW-Thanks for the link. I think it might be my first one.
