On Wednesday night we went to the Yahoo Party in Vegas. The party was in the Playboy Suite aka Hugh Hefner suite at the Palms. (We spent a lot of time at the Palms this trip.) There was a line of people wanting to get in, but their names weren’t on the guest list, so a lot of people missed out on a great party. YPN sent emails weeks prior that you had to RSVP to in order to be on the list. We almost missed it ourselves, but luckily made it before the deadline.
At any rate, talk about living the high-life! I mean first of all, there is a pool hanging over the edge of the hotel. (Well, more like a large wading pool, but still) The furniture in the suite is super chic. When you go upstairs you will find bathrooms with glass walls overlooking a fabulous view of the strip. If you go into the bedroom you will encounter a round bed that spins. The food was fabulous and of course Yahoo always has great beverages for all their guests although I didn’t see any Yahootini’s at this party. As the night went on, of course some of the guests ended up in the pool. I’m sure there will be plenty of pictures up on Flickr soon.
FYI-the Playboy suite at the Palms typicaly goes for $40k per night. Thanks Yahoo!! We had a blast.
After the Yahoo Party, some of us headed over to the Playboy Club at the top of the Palms Fantasy Tower. The Playboy Club is an intimate gaming lounge. There are some photos of us there in this batch as well. There really isn’t much as far as sitting and chatting in the Playboy Club. Unless of course you want to spend a few bills on getting the private tables in the back. Actually though, if you do that, you kind of miss out on all the action upfront. There isn’t a dance floor, so we decided to make one right by the bar off the elevator.
